Where you travel, who you spend your time with, what work you feel called to do, what you buy, where you live, what you eat and drink, what mission you support, what you read, what music you absorb, what you hold on to, and what you let go of are all direct results of a deeper, often unspoken, desire to experience life more fully.
Your desires point to your liberation.
Yet one of the most difficult things we can do is to decide what we really want in our lives. Asking ourselves, “What do I really want?” feels audacious and complex, so we avoid it and opt instead to follow the well-worn path of convention.
If we do the workaround discovering what we want, too often we come to the process with a bucket list of tasks and goals we’d like to accomplish. We don’t spend the time reflecting on whether or not the goals are the right ones or whether or not they would be fulfilling.
This two-hour workshop will give you tools and strategies for deciding what you really want for your life. We will walk through external expectations, specifically calling into awareness the expectations from others that you have taken on as your own. Then we begin the challenging (but exciting nonetheless) process of discerning what you want for yourself.
